The new, original frame design, dubbed The UNION, is a distinctive, rectangular, ‘60s-inspired spectacle, featuring JMM’s signature precious metal hardware and hinges, and exposed temple wirecores hairline-engraved with Union’s angular brand motif. Additional refined details abound, including arrowhead front pins and inner temples featuring brand logos foil-stamped in silver or gold.
Designed in Los Angeles and handcrafted in Japan using exceptional plant-based acetate and responsibly sourced precious metals, eyewear will be delivered in JMM’s iconic monograph box set and include one of two custom, double-sided microfiber cleaning cloths made with recycled PET and featuring Union’s brand motif, as well as an authenticity card with collaboration details, limited-edition batch number, and craftsmen’s signatures all beautifully embossed on letterpress card stock.
